Hi, Madi and Ashtons Dad here from Western Australia. Both of our children have AOS with Madison, 6 being quite mild and Ashton, 4 a little more severe. Madison has a small Aplasia Cutis with very mild shortening of the hands and feet. Ashton has a large Aplasia Cutis with underlying skull defect which is slowly closing over. His hands are quite small and feet are small with some toes missing.

They are both doing great and there are no other issues with their health. Madison is doing very well at school and has lots of great friends. Ashton loves to ride his bike and get out and about. He is a very social boy and happy to interact with other kids and adults.
