Hmm... well that was annoying. I thought I would give this blog a shot but apparently you have to upload your pictures online and then copy the url code here to post pictures. That isn't very nice or easy.
Just thought I would share a quick update on my 3 year old!
He is doing great. I took him in for his 3 year check up and the doctor was surprised it had been so long since he has last seen him. I don't think he had seen his pediatrician in almost a year. I am so glad he is moving in to a new stage in life that doesn't involve a doctors visit every week or two.
Everything seems to be looking good. He is going back in to the cardiologist next month for an ECHO. He hasn't had one since he was a baby so we will see if his murmur is still there and if it is in the same place. Always keeping an eye on the PH too although I am not too worried about it anymore at this point in time.
He still has tubes in his ears and had his ademoids removed a year ago. I am not sure if either of these are AOS related since they are very common childhood problems. I am always chalking things up to AOS.
If my other 3 kids haven't dealt with it then it's gotta be the AOS.
Okay well maybe not. I am taking him back in to the ENT in a couple of weeks though because his hearing seems to be getting bad again and his sleep apnea seems to have returned with a vengeance.
Still dealing with callused toes and little blister like things under the skin. The doctor keeps taking them out and then it takes a long time to heal and then they just come back again. They hurt him a bit so we may eventually take him in to see a podiatrist. Not sure if it was just the way his toes formed or what. He still has small feet but they are growing.
I am most excited that his soft spot finally closed up. It took nearly 3 years and I really didn't think it would do it on it's own, but it finally did! No sugery is great!
Just thought I would share a quick update. Hope everyone else is doing well!
